WordPress 2.7 Beta 1

So I just downloaded and installed the first beta of WordPress 2.7. After a bit of a headache trying to figure out why my blog was coming up blank — turns out that I had activate the default theme since I removed my customized one for the upgrade — I’m playing around with the new interface, which I’m liking a lot. Everything seems a lot more streamlined. This version also seems to embrace Web 2.0 and the idea of Web app as desktop app. Can’t wait for the final version to be released (which should happen later this month).
